रक्तमाल्यं न धार्य स्याच्छुक्लं धार्य तु पण्डितै: । वर्जयित्वा तु कमलं तथा कुवलयं प्रभो

Transliteration

raktamālyaṃ na dhāryaṃ syāc chuklaṃ dhāryaṃ tu paṇḍitaiḥ | varjayitvā tu kamalaṃ tathā kuvalayaṃ prabho ||

Translation

হে প্রভু! পণ্ডিতজনের উচিত লাল ফুলের মালা না পরে শ্বেত পুষ্পের মালা ধারণ করা। তবে পদ্ম ও কুবলয় (নীলপদ্ম) ব্যতিক্রম—সেগুলি লালাভ হলেও ধারণে দোষ নেই।
