Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
अड््गुष्ठस्य च यन्मध्यं प्रदेशिन्याश्व॒ भारत । तेन पित्र्याणि कुर्वीत स्पृष्टवापो न्न्यायत: सदा
aṅguṣṭhasya ca yan madhyaṃ pradeśinyāś ca bhārata | tena pitryāṇi kurvīta spṛṣṭvāpo nyāyataḥ sadā bhārata ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে ভারত! বৃদ্ধাঙ্গুষ্ঠ ও তর্জনীর মধ্যবর্তী স্থানকে ‘পিতৃ-তীর্থ’ বলা হয়। সেই স্থান দিয়ে শাস্ত্রবিধি অনুসারে জল গ্রহণ করে সর্বদা পিতৃকার্য সম্পাদন করা উচিত।
