Gautama–Śakra Saṃvāda: Karma, Loka-bheda, and the Restoration of the Elephant
सुधारिणां धर्मधुरे महात्मनां यथोदिते वर्त्मनि सुस्थितानाम् | धर्मात्मनामुद्वहतां गति तां परं गन्ता धृतराष्ट्रो न तत्र
sudhāriṇāṃ dharmadhure mahātmanāṃ yathodite vartmani susthitānām | dharmātmanām udvahatāṃ gatiṃ tāṃ paraṃ gantā dhṛtarāṣṭro na tatra ||
গৌতম বললেন—যে মহাত্মারা ধর্মের ভার যথাযথ বহন করেন, যেমন শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয়েছে তেমন পথেই সুদৃঢ়ভাবে স্থিত থাকেন এবং ধর্মকর্ম সম্পাদন করেন—তাঁরাই সেই পরম গতি লাভ করেন। ধৃতরাষ্ট্র ঠিক সেই অবস্থায় যাবে না; সে তারও ঊর্ধ্বতর লোক প্রাপ্ত হবে।
