Educational Q&A

Legitimate authority and restored honor arise from rightful consecration and alignment with cosmic order: when a worthy ruler is properly installed by a higher, dharmic authority, his lost radiance and standing return.

Bhishma describes Indra’s reinstatement: Brahmā performs Indra’s consecration to the office of king of the gods, after which Indra again appears radiant and regains his former glory.
