Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
अग्नीषोमं वैश्वदेवं धान्वन्तर्यमनन्तरम् । प्रजानां पतये चैव पृथग्घोमो विधीयते,पहले अग्नि और सोमको, फिर विश्वेदेवोंको, तदनन्तर धन्वन्तरिको, तत्पश्चात् प्रजापतिको पृथक्-पृथक् आहुति देनेका विधान है
agnīṣomaṃ vaiśvadevaṃ dhānvantaryam anantaram | prajānāṃ pataye caiva pṛthag homo vidhīyate ||
হোমে পৃথক পৃথক আহুতি দেওয়ার বিধান আছে—প্রথমে অগ্নি ও সোমকে একত্রে, তারপর বিশ্বেদেবগণকে, তারপর ধন্বন্তরিকে, এবং শেষে প্রজাপতিকে (প্রজাদের অধিপতিকে)।
