धर्मराजे ह्ाृतिप्रीत्या पूर्णचन्द्र इवामले । प्रजानां रेमिरे तुल्यं नेत्राणि हृदयानि च
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
dharmarāje hṛtiprītyā pūrṇacandra ivāmale |
prājānāṃ remire tulyaṃ netrāṇi hṛdayāni ca ||
ধর্মরাজ যুধিষ্ঠিরের প্রতি অন্তরের স্নেহে—নির্মল পূর্ণচন্দ্রের ন্যায়—প্রজারা তাঁকে দেখলেই তাদের চোখ ও হৃদয় একসঙ্গে আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়ে উঠত। তাঁর দর্শনমাত্রেই সকলের মধ্যে স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত, সমান সুখ জেগে উঠত।
