लिङ्गस्तु भगवान्द्वाभ्यां जगत्सृष्टिर्द्विजोत्तमाः लिङ्गमूर्तिः शिवो ज्योतिस् तमसश्चोपरि स्थितः

হে দ্বিজোত্তমগণ, ভগবান লিঙ্গ-স্বরূপ শিব-শক্তির যুগল দ্বারা জগতের সৃষ্টি করেন। লিঙ্গমূর্তি শিব পরম জ্যোতি; তিনি তমস্ ও তার আচ্ছাদনশক্তির ঊর্ধ্বে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
