ज्ञानं धर्मोद्भवं साक्षाज् ज्ञानाद् वैराग्यसंभवः वैराग्यात्परमं ज्ञानं परमार्थप्रकाशकम्

ধর্ম থেকেই প্রত্যক্ষ জ্ঞান উদ্ভূত হয়; জ্ঞান থেকে বৈরাগ্য জন্মায়। বৈরাগ্য থেকে সেই পরম জ্ঞান প্রকাশিত হয়, যা পরমার্থকে আলোকিত করে—পাশ শিথিল করে পশু (বদ্ধ জীব)কে পতি (শিব)-এর দিকে নিয়ে যায়।
