शिवज्ञानं गुरोर्भक्तिर् अचला सुप्रतिष्ठिता निग्रहो ह्यपहृत्याशु प्रसक्तानीन्द्रियाणि च

শিব-জ্ঞান স্থির হওয়া, গুরুর প্রতি অচল ও সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত ভক্তি, এবং সংযম—বিষয়ের দিকে ধাবিত ইন্দ্রিয়সমূহকে দ্রুত প্রত্যাহার করা—এই সাধনাই পশুকে পতি (শিব)-এর দিকে নিয়ে যায়।
