FAQs

It frames Shiva (the Linga as Pati) as the prabhava—ultimate causal source—of sacred waters and life-giving vegetation, so Linga-puja becomes gratitude and alignment with the cosmic origin that sustains the world.

Shiva-tattva is presented as the foundational cause behind manifest nature: rivers, streams, medicinal herbs, and trees arise from Him, indicating His immanence as well as His transcendence as the origin.

It supports dravya-based Shiva-puja using pure water and plant offerings (leaves, herbs) and a Pashupata contemplative practice of recognizing all nourishing forces of nature as expressions of Pati while the pashu seeks release from pasha.
