सोपानत्को जलस्थो वा नोष्णीषी वाचमेद् बुधः / न चैव वर्षधाराभिर्न तिष्ठन् नोद्धृतोदकैः
sopānatko jalastho vā noṣṇīṣī vācamed budhaḥ / na caiva varṣadhārābhirna tiṣṭhan noddhṛtodakaiḥ
বুদ্ধিমান ব্যক্তি পাদুকা পরে, জলে দাঁড়িয়ে, বা মাথা ঢেকে পবিত্র বাক্য উচ্চারণ করবে না। বৃষ্টিধারায়ও নয়, এবং সদ্য তোলা জল নিয়ে কাজ হচ্ছে এমন স্থানে দাঁড়িয়েও নয়।
