अथात: श्रूयतां वंशो योऽदितेरनुपूर्वश: । यत्र नारायणो देव: स्वांशेनावातरद्विभु: ॥ ३८ ॥ विवस्वानर्यमा पूषा त्वष्टाथ सविता भग: । धाता विधाता वरुणो मित्र: शत्रु उरुक्रम: ॥ ३९ ॥
athātaḥ śrūyatāṁ vaṁśo yo ’diter anupūrvaśaḥ yatra nārāyaṇo devaḥ svāṁśenāvātarad vibhuḥ
এখন ক্রমানুসারে অদিতির বংশ শুনুন; এই বংশেই সর্বব্যাপী দেব নারায়ণ স্বীয় অংশে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিলেন। অদিতির পুত্রগণ হলেন—বিবস্বান, আর্যমা, পূষা, ত্বষ্টা, সবিতা, ভাগ, ধাতা, বিধাতা, বরুণ, মিত্র, শত্রু ও উরুক্রম।
