सुरुचिस्तं समुत्थाप्य पादावनतमर्भकम् । परिष्वज्याह जीवेति बाष्पगद्गदया गिरा ॥ ४६ ॥
surucis taṁ samutthāpya pādāvanatam arbhakam pariṣvajyāha jīveti bāṣpa-gadgadayā girā
ধ্রুব মহারাজের নিষ্পাপ বালকটি যখন সুরুচির চরণে লুটিয়ে পড়ল, তখন সুরুচি সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তাকে তুলে নিয়ে দুই হাতে বুকে জড়ালেন এবং আবেগের অশ্রুতে গদ্গদ কণ্ঠে আশীর্বাদ করলেন—“বৎস, দীর্ঘজীবী হও!”
