Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports of the Fourth Canto, Thirty-first Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled “Nārada Instructs the Pracetās.”
This verse states that hearing about devotees who have offered themselves to Hari grants longevity, prosperity, fame, well-being, an elevated destination, and opulence.
He encourages attentive hearing by showing that Bhagavata-kathā is spiritually potent and also brings auspicious results when heard with respect and faith.
Regularly hear or study Bhagavatam narrations about devotees of Hari with sincerity—making it a steady habit—so the mind becomes oriented toward devotion and higher goals.
