Pṛthu Mahārāja Milks the Earth (Bhūmi-dugdha) and Organizes Human Settlement
ततो महीपति: प्रीत: सर्वकामदुघां पृथु: । दुहितृत्वे चकारेमां प्रेम्णा दुहितृवत्सल: ॥ २८ ॥
tato mahīpatiḥ prītaḥ sarva-kāma-dughāṁ pṛthuḥ duhitṛtve cakāremāṁ premṇā duhitṛ-vatsalaḥ
এরপর মহীপতি পৃথু পৃথিবীর প্রতি অত্যন্ত সন্তুষ্ট হলেন, কারণ তিনি দেখলেন—সে সকল জীবকে যথেষ্ট আহার দেয় এবং সর্বকামদুঘা। কন্যাস্নেহী পৃথু প্রেমভরে পৃথিবীকে কন্যারূপে গ্রহণ করে স্নেহ প্রদর্শন করলেন।
