वृथा मनोरथस्तस्य दूर: स्वर्ग: पतत्यध: । प्रतिश्रुतस्यादानेन योऽर्थिनं विप्रलम्भते ॥ ३३ ॥
vṛthā manorathas tasya dūraḥ svargaḥ pataty adhaḥ pratiśrutasyādānena yo ’rthinaṁ vipralambhate
যে ব্যক্তি প্রার্থীর কাছে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়ে তা না দিয়ে তাকে প্রতারিত করে, তার জন্য স্বর্গ দূরে থাকে, কামনা বৃথা হয়, আর সে অধঃপতিত হয়ে নরকীয় অবস্থায় পড়ে।
