Sukta 50
विजयः। यथा वृक्षमशनिर्विश्वाहा हन्त्यप्रति। एवाहमद्य कितवानक्षैर्बध्यासमप्रति
yáthā vṛkṣám aśánir viśvā́hā hánty apratí | evā́ham adyá kitavā́n ákṣair bádhyāsam apratí ||
As the thunderbolt ever smiteth the tree, resistless—so may I to-day, resistless, bind fast the gambler with his dice.
বিজয়। যেমন বজ্র (অশনি) সর্বদা অপ্রতিরোধ্যভাবে বৃক্ষকে আঘাত করে—তেমনই আমি আজ অপ্রতিরোধ্য হয়ে জুয়াড়িকে তার পাশা (অক্ষৈঃ) সহ দৃঢ়ভাবে বেঁধে ফেলি।
