शत्रुनाशनम्। असदन् गावः सदनेऽपप्तद् वसतिं वयः । आस्थाने पर्वता अस्थुः स्थाम्नि वृक्कावतिष्ठिपम्

IAST Transliteration

śatrunāśanám. ásadan gā́vaḥ sádane ’paptad vasatíṃ váyaḥ | āsthā́ne párvatā asthuḥ sthā́mni vṛ́kkāv atiṣṭhipam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Enemy-destruction. The cows have sat down within the dwelling; the bird hath flown away from the habitation. The mountains have stood fast in their station: in its place have I set the two wolves firm.

Translation

শত্রুনাশন। গাভীগণ গৃহের ভিতরে বসে পড়েছে; পাখি বাসস্থান থেকে উড়ে গেছে। পর্বতগুলি তাদের স্থানে অচল দাঁড়িয়ে আছে; আর নিজ স্থানে আমি সেই দুই নেকড়েকে দৃঢ়ভাবে স্থাপন করেছি।
