Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यदप्रतिमानमोजो वज्रेण वज्रिन्धृषितो जघन्थ । त्वं शुष्णस्यावातिरो वधत्रैस्त्वं गा इन्द्र शच्येदविन्दः
tváṁ ha tyád apratimā́nám ójo vájreṇa vajrin dhṛṣitó jaghántha | tváṁ śúṣṇasyā́vātiró vádhatrāis tváṁ gā́ indra śácyéd avindaḥ ||
Thou, O bolt-bearer, didst with the thunderbolt in daring smite that matchless might; thou didst bring low Śuṣṇa with slaying weapons; thou, O Indra, didst verily by thy efficacious power win the cows.
হে বজ্রধারী! বজ্র দিয়ে সাহসে তুমি সেই অতুল শক্তিকে চূর্ণ করেছিলে। তুমি শুষ্ণকে বধ-অস্ত্রে নিপাত করেছিলে; আর হে ইন্দ্র! তোমার শচী (কার্যকর শক্তি) দ্বারা তুমি নিশ্চয়ই গাভীগুলিকে লাভ করেছিলে।
