Sukta 5
महादेव एनमिष्वास ऊर्ध्वाया दिशो अन्तर्देशादनुष्ठातानु तिष्ठति नैनं शर्वो न भवो नेशानः
mahādevá enam iṣvā́sá ūrdhvā́yā diśó antardeśā́d anuṣṭhātā́ ánu tiṣṭhati náinam śarvó ná bhavó néśānaḥ
Mahādeva, the Archer, from the mid-region of the Upward Quarter, standeth attending after him; him neither Śarva, nor Bhava, nor Īśāna injureth.
ঊর্ধ্ব দিকের অন্তর্দেশ (মধ্য-অঞ্চল) থেকে মহাদেব—ধনুর্ধর—তার পশ্চাতে অনুষ্টাতা-রক্ষক হয়ে স্থিত থাকে; তাকে না শর্ব, না ভব, না ঈশান ক্ষতি করে।
