तथा जन्मनि जन्मनीति ङ गृहादौ मण्डपे वाथेति ख गृहादौ मण्डपे चैवमिति ञ पुत्रार्थराज्यविजयभुक्तिमुक्त्यादीति ख , ङ च चतुर्हस्तं चाष्टहस्तं कुण्डन्द्वादश च द्विजाः पञ्चविंशं षोडशं वा पटे द्वारे चतुष्टयं

tathā janmani janmanīti ṅa gṛhādau maṇḍape vātheti kha gṛhādau maṇḍape caivamiti ña putrārtharājyavijayabhuktimuktyādīti kha , ṅa ca caturhastaṃ cāṣṭahastaṃ kuṇḍandvādaśa ca dvijāḥ pañcaviṃśaṃ ṣoḍaśaṃ vā paṭe dvāre catuṣṭayaṃ

এভাবেই জন্মে জন্মে (এই বিধান) প্রযোজ্য; গৃহে এবং মণ্ডপেও—এমনই বলা হয়েছে। পুত্রলাভ, রাজ্য, রাজবিজয়, ভোগ ও মোক্ষ প্রভৃতি উদ্দেশ্যেও একই নির্দেশ। হে দ্বিজগণ, কুণ্ড চার হাত বা আট হাত মাপে হবে; আর পট (পরদা) ও দ্বারের মাপ চারটির সেটে, প্রয়োজনে বারো, ষোলো বা পঁচিশ (একক) নির্ধারিত।
