Verse 18

Kshurika

छिद्यते ध्यानयोगेन सुषुम्नैका न छिद्यते । योगनिर्मलधारेण क्षुरेणानलवर्चसा ॥ छिन्देन्नाडीशतं धीरः प्रभावादिह जन्मनि । जातीपुष्पसमायोगैर्यथा वास्यति तैलितम् ॥

छिद्यते । ध्यान-योगेन । सुषुम्ना-एका । न । छिद्यते ॥ योग-निर्मल-धारेण । क्षुरेण । अनल-वर्चसा ॥ छिन्देत् । नाडि-शतम् । धीरः । प्रभावात् । इह । जन्मनि ॥ जाती-पुष्प-समायोगैः । यथा । वास्यति । तैलितम् ॥

chidyate dhyānayogena suṣumnāikā na chidyate | yoganirmaladhāreṇa kṣureṇānalavarcāsā || chindennāḍīśataṃ dhīraḥ prabhāvād iha janmani | jātīpuṣpasamāyogair yathā vāsyati tailitam ||

ধ্যানযোগে (গ্ৰন্থি/অৱৰোধ) ছিন্ন হয়; সুষুম্না একাই ছিন্ন নহয়। যোগে নিৰ্মল হোৱা ধাৰাই অগ্নিবৰ্ণ তেজযুক্ত ক্ষুৰ (উস্তৰা) সদৃশ; ধীৰ পুৰুষে তাৰ প্ৰভাৱত ইহজন্মতেই ইয়াত নাড়ীশত ছিন্ন কৰিব লাগে—যেনে জাতী (মল্লিকা) ফুলৰ সংযোগে তেল সুগন্ধিত হয়।

By the yoga of meditation (the knots/obstructions) are cut; suṣumnā alone is not cut. With the razor—having the lustre of fire—(namely) the stream made pure by yoga, the steadfast one should cut the hundred nāḍīs by its power here in this very life, just as oil is perfumed by contact with jasmine flowers.
