raibhya uvāca | ayodhyāyāmasti tīrthaṃ pāvanaṃ paramaṃ mahat | tatra snānaṃ kuruṣvādya sauṃdaryaṃ paramāpnuhi
ৰৈভ্য ক’লে: অযোধ্যাত এক পৰম মহান পাৱন তীৰ্থ আছে। আজি তাত স্নান কৰা; তই অতুল সৌন্দৰ্য লাভ কৰিবি।
Raibhya (sage)
Tirtha: Unnamed Ayodhyā tīrtha (later to be known by Urvāśī’s name per 7.103)
Type: tirtha
Scene: Sage Raibhya points the way toward Ayodhyā’s great purifying tīrtha, instructing Urvāśī to bathe that very day; the scene shifts from hermitage counsel to the imagined sacred waters.
Purāṇic dharma emphasizes that sacred places, approached with faith and timely action, can restore auspiciousness and remove afflictions.
A “supremely great purifying tīrtha” in Ayodhyā is praised; its water’s fame is linked with Urvāśī in the next verse.
Perform snāna (ritual bathing) at the Ayodhyā tīrtha, explicitly instructed to be done ‘today’ (adya).
