अगस्त्य उवाच । विष्णुशर्मेति विख्यातः पुराभूद्ब्राह्मणोत्तमः । वेदवेदांगतत्त्वज्ञो धर्मकर्मसमाश्रितः
agastya uvāca | viṣṇuśarmeti vikhyātaḥ purābhūdbrāhmaṇottamaḥ | vedavedāṃgatattvajño dharmakarmasamāśritaḥ
অগস্ত্য ক’লে: পূৰ্বে ‘বিষ্ণুশৰ্মা’ নামে খ্যাত এক শ্ৰেষ্ঠ ব্ৰাহ্মণ আছিল। তেওঁ বেদ আৰু বেদাঙ্গৰ তত্ত্বজ্ঞ আছিল আৰু ধৰ্মকৰ্ম তথা পবিত্ৰ আচৰণত সুপ্ৰতিষ্ঠিত আছিল।
