শম্ভুৰ সন্মুখ বুলি পূৰ্বদিশ গ্ৰহণ নকৰিবা, আৰু উত্তৰদিশক শক্তিসমূহৰ সমাবেশস্থান বুলিও নধৰিবা। পশ্চিম দিশ তেওঁৰ পৃষ্ঠভাগ; সেয়ে পূজাত যথোচিত গ্ৰাহ্য দিশা-বিন্যাসেই আশ্ৰয় কৰা উচিত।
