FAQs

It teaches that dharmic giving should support a purified, regulated life: when necessities that calm the senses are offered in a righteous way, the subtle cosmic powers connected with perception and space are harmonized, making the mind fit for Shiva-bhakti and liberation.

In Linga worship, outer offerings and supportive charity are not mere enjoyment; they are consecrated acts that align the worshipper’s senses and environment with the sacred order, which strengthens devotion to Saguna Shiva and steadies contemplation of the Nirguna truth behind the Linga.

Practice disciplined dāna alongside pūjā—offer wholesome supports (food, drink, lamps, sound such as mantra/recitation) and restrain indulgence; combine this with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to purify sense-experience into worship.
