विष्णुब्रह्मादयो देवाः सिद्धास्सर्वर्षयोऽपि हि । तदनुग्रहतस्तात समर्थः सर्वकर्मणि
viṣṇubrahmādayo devāḥ siddhāssarvarṣayo'pi hi | tadanugrahatastāta samarthaḥ sarvakarmaṇi

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Universalizes grace: even Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Siddhas, and Ṛṣis succeed only by Śiva’s anugraha—pilgrimage and practice are efficacious because the Lord empowers them.
It teaches that all capability—worldly or spiritual—arises from Shiva’s anugraha (grace). In Shaiva Siddhanta, Shiva as Pati empowers even exalted beings, showing that liberation and right action depend on divine grace rather than egoic effort alone.
Linga worship and Saguna Shiva devotion are practical ways to seek and receive anugraha. By honoring Shiva’s manifest form with faith, the devotee aligns actions with Shiva’s will, through which competence and auspicious outcomes arise.
A key takeaway is grace-oriented sadhana: daily japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with humility, along with simple Shiva-puja (water/abhisheka) as a means to cultivate receptivity to Shiva’s anugraha.
