to the Sage

It shows how human will and worldly fear can resist dharma, yet the Lord’s grace—working through Śiva’s Māyā—redirects the heart toward the destined union with Pati (Śiva), the liberating Lord.
Hara is Saguna Śiva—approachable in form and līlā—who guides devotees through māyā toward right alignment. Linga-worship likewise trains the mind to move from outer hesitation to inner consent and surrender to Śiva.
A practical takeaway is steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to dissolve resistance born of delusion, coupled with simple Śiva-pūjā (bhasma/Tripuṇḍra and Rudrākṣa if one’s tradition permits).
