The verse highlights bhakti expressed through praise, humility (praṇāma), and joyful worship of Śivā—Pārvatī as Shiva’s inseparable Śakti—showing that reverence to the Divine Mother supports grace and auspiciousness on the path to liberation.
In Shaiva practice, Saguna worship honors Shiva together with His Śakti; worshipping Pārvatī as “Śivā” complements Liṅga-worship by recognizing the complete divine reality—Pati (Shiva) with His power (Śakti)—through concrete offerings like sandal and flowers.
A simple pūjā pattern is implied: offer fragrant sandal paste and fresh flowers with a joyful, surrendered mind, accompanied by salutations (namaskāra); one may pair it with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and respectful remembrance of Pārvatī as Śiva’s Śakti.
