काम-शक्र-संवादः / Dialogue of Kāma and Śakra
Indra
अहं पञ्चबलोदेवा मित्रं मम सुधानिधिः
ahaṃ pañcabalodevā mitraṃ mama sudhānidhiḥ
হে দেৱী, মই পঞ্চবিধ বলসম্পন্ন; মোৰ মিত্ৰ সুধানিধি—অমৃতৰ মহাসাগৰ।
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahadeva
Shakti Form: Parvati
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights Shiva’s self-sufficiency and divine potency—His “fivefold strength” indicates complete mastery of power, while “nectar” symbolizes the bliss and immortality that arise from union with Shiva-consciousness (Pati) beyond bondage (pāśa).
By presenting Shiva as the source of sustaining power and “nectar-like” grace, it supports Saguna worship—devotees approach the Linga as the accessible form through which Shiva grants protection, steadiness, and the sweetness of divine anugraha (grace).
Meditate on Shiva as the inner reservoir of amṛta through japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), ideally with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa, cultivating steadiness (bala) and devotion (bhakti).
