‘ওঁ’—একাক্ষৰ ব্ৰহ্ম—উচ্চাৰণ কৰি, মোৰ প্ৰতি ভক্তিসহ, সেই নাদৰ মধ্যত অৱস্থিত মোক সদায় উদ্যমী মনৰে ধ্যান কৰিব।
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Significance: Praṇava-centered upāsanā: internalizes the ‘liṅga’ as sound (nāda) and meaning (artha), leading the paśu toward Pati through grace-bearing contemplation.
Mantra: oṃ (ekākṣaraṃ brahma)
Type: gayatri
Role: teaching
It teaches that “Om” is not merely a sound but a doorway to the Supreme; by reciting it and meditating on Śiva as its inner core, the seeker turns mantra into direct God-centered contemplation leading toward liberation.
As the Liṅga is a sacred centre for focusing the mind on Śiva, this verse presents “Om” as an inner Liṅga—one meditates on Śiva dwelling at its centre, harmonizing external worship with internal dhyāna on Saguna Śiva that opens into the Supreme reality.
Regular japa of “Om” with steady concentration, followed by dhyāna that visualizes/realizes Śiva in the heart of the mantra—maintained daily with an alert, disciplined mind.
