Sukta 7.12
स मह्ना विश्वा दुरितानि साह्वानग्निः ष्टवे दम आ जातवेदाः । स नो रक्षिषद्दुरितादवद्यादस्मान्गृणत उत नो मघोनः ॥
sá mahnā́ víśvā duritā́ni sā́hvān agníḥ stave dáma ā́ jā́ta-vedāḥ | sá no rakṣiṣad duritā́d avadyā́d asmā́n gṛṇatá utá no maghónaḥ ||
মহিমাত মহান, সকলো দুঃখ-দুৰিত অতিক্ৰম কৰা অগ্নি গৃহত জাতবেদা ৰূপে স্তৱিত হয়। তেওঁ যেন আমাক দুঃখ-দুৰিত আৰু অৱদ্য (দোষ)ৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা কৰে—আমি যিসকলে গাইছোঁ, আৰু আমাৰ মঘোন (দানশীল দাতা)কো।
