तं त्वा मर्ता अगृभ्णत देवेभ्यो हव्यवाहन । विश्वान्यद्यज्ञाँ अभिपासि मानुष तव क्रत्वा यविष्ठ्य ॥
Transliteration
táṃ tvā martā́ agṛbhṇata devébhyo havyavāhana | víśvāny ád yajñā́m̐ abhípāsi mā́nuṣa táva krátvā yaviṣṭhya ||
Translation
তোমাক মর্ত্যসকলে দেৱতাসকলৰ বাবে ধৰি ল’লে, হব্য-বাহন (অৰ্ঘ্য-বহনকাৰী) অগ্নি। হে মানৱ-মুখী অগ্নি, তুমি তোমাৰ ক্ৰতু (কাৰ্য্য-জ্ঞান-ইচ্ছাশক্তি) দ্বাৰা সকলো যজ্ঞক আজি চাৰিওফালে ৰক্ষা কৰা—হে যৱিষ্ঠ (সৰ্বকনিষ্ঠ)।
