महिषासो मायिनश्चित्रभानवो गिरयो न स्वतवसो रघुष्यदः । मृगा इव हस्तिनः खादथा वना यदारुणीषु तविषीरयुग्ध्वम् ॥
mahíṣāso māyínaś citrá-bhānavo gírayō ná svá-tavaso raghu-syádaḥ | mṛgā́ iva hastínaḥ khādatʰā vánā yád āruṇī́ṣu táviṣīr áyugdhvam ||
মহিষ-সম বলবান, মায়াবী শক্তিৰ অধিকারী, বিচিত্ৰ দীপ্তিসম্পন্ন—পৰ্বতৰ দৰে স্বয়ং-দৃঢ় আৰু বেগবান গতিৰে ধাৱমান। মৃগৰ দৰে, হস্তীৰ দৰে, তোমালোকে বনভূমি চৰি খোৱা; যেতিয়া ৰক্তিম অঞ্চলসমূহত তোমালোকে নিজৰ তৱিষী (উদ্যম-শক্তি) যুজি দিছিলা।
