सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
स प्राकारमवप्लुत्य पश्यामि बहुपादपम्।अशोकवनिकामध्ये शिंशुपापादपो महान्।।।।तमारुह्य च पश्यामि काञ्चनं कदलीवनम्।
sa prākāram avaplutya paśyāmi bahu-pādapam |
aśoka-vanikā-madhye śiṃśupā-pādapo mahān ||
tam āruhya ca paśyāmi kāñcanaṃ kadalī-vanam |
সেই প্ৰাকাৰ লংঘি মই বহু প্ৰকাৰ গছ-গছনিত ভৰা এখন উপবন দেখিলোঁ। অশোকবনিকাৰ মাজত মহা শিংশুপা গছ আছিল; তাত উঠি মই সোণালী কান্তিৰে দীপ্ত কদলী-বন নিহাৰিলোঁ।
