The Slaying of Vali

The mighty Vali, breathing heavily, looked around to find where his enemy was.
The verse highlights how anger (krodha) disturbs discernment; Dharma requires self-mastery before action, especially in conflict.
Vāli, agitated and searching, looks around to locate the opponent he intends to confront.
Not virtue but a cautionary trait: uncontrolled wrath driving impulsive intent.
