गङ्गाजन्मवर्णनम् / The Origin of the Ganga

सैषा सुरनदी रम्या शैलेन्द्रस्य सुता तदा।सुरलोकं समारूढा विपापा जलवाहिनी।।1.35.24।।
saiṣā suranadī ramyā śailendrasya sutā tadā |
suralokaṃ samārūḍhā vipāpā jalavāhinī || 1.35.24 ||
তেতিয়া সেই ৰমণীয় সুৰনদী—শৈলেন্দ্ৰ হিমৱানৰ কন্যা—দেৱলোকলৈ আৰোহণ কৰিলে; পাপনাশিনী জলবাহিনী হৈ নিজৰ জল বহাই আগবাঢ়িল।
