दूषणवधः
The Slaying of Dūṣaṇa and the Rout of Khara’s Host
तस्याभिपतमानस्य दूषणस्य स राघवः।द्वाभ्यां शराभ्यां चिच्छेद सहस्ताभरणौ भुजौ।।।।
tasyābhipatamānasya dūṣaṇasya sa rāghavaḥ |
dvābhyāṃ śarābhyāṃ ciccheda sahastābharaṇau bhujau ||
দুষণ আঘাত কৰিবলৈ ঝাঁপ দি আহোঁতে, ৰাঘৱ ৰামে দুটা শৰে অঙ্গদ-ভূষিত তাৰ দুয়োটা বাহু ছেদন কৰিলে।
Seeing Dusana going to pounce upon him, Rama cut off with two arrows both his arms adorned with armlets.
Kṣātra-dharma: decisive protection against adharma. Rāma responds with measured, skillful force to stop an aggressor mid-attack, preventing further harm.
Dūṣaṇa lunges at Rāma in the forest battle; Rāma counters instantly and disables him by cutting off both arms with two arrows.
