पुलस्त्य उवाच । परिपृष्टमिदं जगत्प्रियं ते विबुधानामपि दुर्लभं महत्त्वात् । तव भक्तिमतस्तथापि वक्ष्ये व्रतमिंद्रासुरमानवेषु गुह्यम्
pulastya uvāca | paripṛṣṭamidaṃ jagatpriyaṃ te vibudhānāmapi durlabhaṃ mahattvāt | tava bhaktimatastathāpi vakṣye vratamiṃdrāsuramānaveṣu guhyam
পুলস্ত্য ক’লে: তুমি যি সুধিছা, সেয়া জগতৰ প্ৰিয় আৰু মহত্ত্বৰ বাবে দেবতাসকলৰো দুষ্প্ৰাপ্য। তথাপি তুমি ভক্তিমান হোৱা বাবে মই সেই ব্ৰত ক’ম—যি ইন্দ্ৰৰ গণ, অসুৰ আৰু মানুহৰ মাজতো গোপন বুলি গণ্য।
