Unspecified devotee/petitioner addressing Guḍaparvata (context not provided in the input)

Concept: Auspicious objects become protective ‘abodes’ when linked to divine agency and approached with surrender (śaraṇāgati).

Application: When undertaking charity or vows, explicitly dedicate the act to the divine and ask for protection from misuse of wealth; keep prosperity aligned with dharma.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Type: tirtha

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A devotee addresses Guḍaparvata as though it were a living guardian—its jaggery terraces glow like amber cliffs, crowned with bilva and lotus garlands. A subtle vision of Pārvatī appears behind it, as if she has molded the mountain with her own hands, blessing it with saubhāgya.","primary_figures":["devotee/petitioner","personified Guḍaparvata","Pārvatī/Gaurī (visionary presence)"],"setting":"Ritual pavilion with a low altar, kalasha pots, garlands, and offerings of sweets; a faint Himalayan silhouette to hint at Pārvatī’s mountain association.","lighting_mood":"golden dawn","color_palette":["amber brown","vermillion red","leaf green","ivory white","soft gold"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Pārvatī seated in regal posture behind the guḍa mountain, blessing gesture (abhaya), devotee kneeling; thick gold leaf on crowns and halos, ruby-red sari, emerald borders, ornate pillars framing the altar.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: intimate devotional moment—small figures, refined faces, gentle dawn wash; guḍa mountain rendered with delicate stippling, Pārvatī as a translucent apparition; cool mountain air and floral foreground.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: stylized Gaurī with bold outlines and large eyes, guḍa mountain as stepped geometric form; warm red-yellow-green palette, temple-wall composition with symmetrical lamps.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central guḍaparvata with floral borders, parrots and peacocks; a medallion of Gaurī above, intricate vine work, deep blue ground with gold highlights."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"meditative","suggested_raga":"Bhupali","pace":"slow-meditative","voice_tone":"serene","sound_elements":["soft temple bells","incense crackle","distant birds","brief silence between pādas"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: yasmātsaubhāgyadāyinyā = yasmāt + saubhāgyadāyinyāḥ (visarga/ending sandhi); nirmitaścāsi = nirmitaḥ + ca + asi; tasmānmāṃ = tasmāt + mām (final -t before m becomes -n).

FAQs

The speaker petitions Guḍaparvata for continual protection, praising it as an auspicious abode fashioned by Pārvatī.

It presents sacred geography as spiritually potent: the place is revered because it bestows fortune and is sanctified by divine association (Pārvatī’s act of creation).

The verse models śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge): acknowledging sacred power and approaching it with humility and praise while asking for protection.
