चिंतयामास मेधावी किं कृत्वा सुकृतं भवेत् । क्षमां कृत्वा जगामाथ अन्यत्स्थानं द्विजोत्तमः

ciṃtayāmāsa medhāvī kiṃ kṛtvā sukṛtaṃ bhavet | kṣamāṃ kṛtvā jagāmātha anyatsthānaṃ dvijottamaḥ

মেধাৱী ব্ৰাহ্মণে মনতে ভাবিলে—“কি কৰিলে পুণ্য উদ্ভৱ হয়?” তাৰ পাছত ক্ষমা দান কৰি, সেই দ্বিজোত্তম অন্য স্থানলৈ গ’ল।
