मुक्त्वैकं ब्राह्मणं लोके नोक्तं शूद्रविशोरपि । दानं हि पालनं युद्धं तृतीयं भूभुजां स्मृतम् ॥ २ ॥
muktvaikaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ loke noktaṃ śūdraviśorapi | dānaṃ hi pālanaṃ yuddhaṃ tṛtīyaṃ bhūbhujāṃ smṛtam || 2 ||
এই জগতত ব্ৰাহ্মণক বাদ দি শূদ্ৰ আৰু বৈশ্যৰ বাবে (বিশেষ) কৰ্তব্য কোৱা হোৱা নাই। কিন্তু ৰজাসকলৰ বাবে দান, পালন (প্ৰজাৰক্ষা) আৰু যুদ্ধ—এই তিনিটা কৰ্তব্য স্মৃত।
