पत्नीउवाच मदर्थं तेन नागेन सुता शप्ता सखी मम ।
मूका भविष्यसीत्याह सा च मूकत्वमागताः ॥
patnyuvāca madarthaṃ tena nāgena sutā śaptā sakhī mama | mūkā bhaviṣyasīty āha sā ca mūkatvam āgatāḥ ||
স্ত্ৰীয়ে ক’লে—“মোৰ কাৰণে, হে প্ৰিয়, সেই সখী-কন্যাক সেই নাগে শাপ দিছিল—‘তুমি মূক হ’বা’; আৰু সি সঁচাকৈ মূকত্বত পৰিল।”
