Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat
ब्राह्मण उवाच परस्त्रियां नाभिलषेदित्युगुर्गुरवो मम ।
तेन त्वां नाभिवाञ्छामि कामं विलप शुष्य वा ॥
brāhmaṇa uvāca para-striyaṃ nābhilaṣed ity ucur guravo mama | tena tvāṃ nābhivāñchāmi kāmaṃ vilapa śuṣya vā ||
ব্ৰাহ্মণে ক’লে—মোৰ আচার্যসকলে ঘোষণা কৰিছে: ‘অন্য পুৰুষৰ স্ত্ৰীক কামনা কৰা উচিত নহয়।’ সেয়ে মই তোমাক কামনা নকৰোঁ। ইচ্ছামতে কান্দা, অথবা শুকাই নষ্ট হোৱা।
