मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
शतार्धकोटिविस्तारा पृथिवी कृत्स्रशो द्विज ।
तस्या हि स्थानमखिलं कथयामि शृणुष्व तत् ॥
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca |
śatārdha-koṭi-vistārā pṛthivī kṛtsraśo dvija |
tasyā hi sthānam akhilaṃ kathayāmi śṛṇuṣva tat ||
মাৰ্কণ্ডেয় ক’লে—হে দ্বিজ! পৃথিৱীৰ সম্পূৰ্ণ বিস্তাৰ প্ৰস্থত ‘এশ পঞ্চাশ কোটি’ (যোজন) বুলি কোৱা হয়। এতিয়া মই তাৰ সমগ্ৰ বিন্যাস/গঠন সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ বৰ্ণনা কৰিম—শুনা।
