Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
तर्जन्यङ्गुष्ठयोरन्तः पैत्र्यं तीर्थमुदाहृतम् । पितॄणां तेन तोयादि दद्याद् नान्दीमुखादृते ॥
tarjanyaṅguṣṭhayorantaḥ paitryaṃ tīrthamudāhṛtam | pitṝṇāṃ tena toyādi dadyānnāndīmukhādṛte ||
তর্জনী আৰু বৃদ্ধাঙ্গুলিৰ মাজৰ স্থানক ‘পৈতৃয়-তীৰ্থ’ বুলি কোৱা হৈছে। সেইদ্বাৰা পিতৃসকললৈ জল আদি অৰ্পণ কৰিব লাগে—কিন্তু নান্দীমুখ বিধিত নহয়।
