Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
अन्यायकन्याशुल्कोत्थं द्रव्यञ्चात्र विगर्हितम् ।
दुर्गन्धि फेनिलञ्चाम्बु तथैवाल्पतरोदकम् ॥
anyāya-kanyā-śulkotthaṃ dravyaṃ cātra vigarhitam / durgandhi phenilaṃ cāmbu tathaivālpa-tarodakam
ইয়াত অন্যায় ‘কন্যা-শুল্ক’ (অনুচিত কন্যামূল্য) আদি পৰা উৎপন্ন ধনো নিন্দিত; লগতে দুৰ্গন্ধযুক্ত বা ফেনাযুক্ত পানী, আৰু অল্প প্ৰবাহৰ বাবে ক্ষীণ পানীও বর্জনীয়।

The rite rejects exploitation (commercializing marriage) and also rejects materially unsuitable media (bad water). Dharma is both social justice and ritual fitness.
