Adhyaya 14 — The Messenger of Yama Explains Karmic Retribution and the Causes of Naraka Torments
तिष्ठन्ति तत्र युक्तानि लिङ्गमात्रेण चात्मनि ।
वपुषा मनसा वाचा न कदाचित्क्वचिन्नरः ॥
tiṣṭhanti tatra yuktāni liṅgamātreṇa cātmani / vapuṣā manasā vācā na kadācit kvacin naraḥ
তাত তেওঁলোকে কেৱল সূক্ষ্ম ‘লিঙ্গ’মাত্ৰে আত্মাৰ সৈতে সংযুক্ত হৈ থাকে; কোনো ব্যক্তি কেতিয়াও ক’তাও দেহ, মন বা বাক্যৰে সেই সংযোগ বিনা প্ৰবৃত্ত নহয়।

Karmic continuity is carried through a subtle linkage (liṅga), and ethical responsibility spans body, mind, and speech—none are outside karmic accounting.
