अध्याय ५०: उत्तरेण सह अर्जुनस्य रथप्रयाणे ध्वजचिह्नैः कौरवसेनानिर्देशः
Arjuna directs Uttara by identifying Kaurava commanders through banners
मूलमेषां महत् कृत्तं सारार्थी चन्दनं यथा । कर्म कारयिथा: सूत तत्र कि विदुरो5ब्रवीत्
mūlam eṣāṃ mahat kṛttaṃ sārārthī candanaṃ yathā | karma kārayithāḥ sūta tatra kiṃ viduro ’bravīt ||
হে সূত! যেনেকৈ হৃদয়কাষ্ঠৰ লোভত মানুহে চন্দন কাটি পেলায়, তেনেকৈ কপট পাশা-খেলা আৰু কৃষ্ণা (দ্ৰৌপদী)ৰ অপমানৰ দ্বাৰা তুমি এই পাণ্ডৱসকলৰ মূলেই কাটি পেলালা। যেতিয়া তুমি তেওঁলোকক দাস-কৰ্মকাৰ কৰিলে, তেতিয়া তাত মহাত্মা বিদুৰে কি কৈছিল—মনত আছে নে? তেওঁ সতৰ্ক কৰিছিল যে এই জুৱাই কুৰুবংশৰ বিনাশৰ কাৰণ হ’ব।
