दक्षिणदिशि तीर्थवर्णनम्

Southern Tīrthas: Godāvarī to Dvāravatī

“ब्रह्म! आप दूसरे ब्राह्मणोंसे सुने हुए नाना प्रकारके कतिपय आश्रमों, सरोवरों, सरिताओं तथा रमणीय पर्वतोंका पता बताइये। अर्जुनके बिना अब काम्यकवनमें रहना हमें अच्छा नहीं लगता; इसलिये अब दूसरी दिशाको चलेंगे” ।। इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि तीर्थयात्रापर्वणि धौम्यतीर्थयात्रायां षडशीतितमो<ध्याय:

brahman! āpa dūsare brāhmaṇoṁ se sune hue nānā-prakāra ke katipaya āśramoṁ, sarovarōṁ, saritāōṁ tathā ramaṇīya parvatōṁ kā patā batāiye. arjuna ke binā aba kāmyaka-vana meṁ rahanā hameṁ acchā nahīṁ lagatā; isaliye aba dūsarī diśā ko caleṁge.

হে ব্ৰাহ্মণ! অন্য ব্ৰাহ্মণসকলৰ পৰা শুনা নানাবিধ আশ্ৰম, সৰোবৰ, নদী আৰু মনোৰম পৰ্বতৰ কথা আমাক কোৱা। অৰ্জুন নথকাৰ বাবে এতিয়া কাম্যকবনত থাকিবলৈ আমাৰ ভাল নালাগে; সেয়ে এতিয়া আমি অন্য দিশলৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিম।
